Flash Mob

According to Wikipedia:

A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a Public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, then quickly disperse.
I think Flash Mobs are great! I have been browsing them all evening on YouTube.

There is one group in particular that is very prevalent. Improv Everywhere is a fairly well organized group that sets up Flash Mobs in the New York area, if I were there I would so join up!! One of their best Flash Mobs in my opinion is the MP3 Experiement. All these people knew to meet at a certain area, on a certain day, at a certain time (like any other Flash Mob), the only difference is that they had all downloaded an MP3 and put it on a player and hit play at the same time (synchronized watches, some were a bit sooner or later... but I digress) and follow the directions. So fun! They are a bit long, but so fun to watch. If you don't want to watch it all go to the 3rd video and watch the time lapse one.

I just found out that they will be doing an MP3 Experiment in SF this weekend!!! Unfortunately Kyle and I already have plans for this weekend and so I can't go... :0( But if I weren't busy I would try so hard to go!

Another of my favorite Flash Mobs that they did was the

I looked around the web and couldn't really find a dedicated SLO group... Maybe some day...

Hi Carrie. I remember you (since you went to Grace and Josh and Kyle worked together). I even check your blog every once in a while (I'm a blog stalker...) We were only supposed to move to SC for a few months for CreateSpace, but decided to stay. Thanks for the comment and you can definitely add me. =-)
